10 bombs in Zaporizhzhia: search and rescue operations completed – three people killed

The Russians continue their horrific attacks on civilian homes and civilians in Ukraine, using more and more means of killing. On the morning of September 22, 10 guided bombs fell on the city of Zaporizhzhia. As reported by the State Emergency Service after the end of the search and rescue operations, three people were killed – two women aged 40 and 79, and a 77-year-old man. Two people were injured – a 20-year-old and a 17-year-old boy.

The Russian bombs completely destroyed a private residential building and damaged neighboring buildings. The strikes also occurred near apartment buildings, on the territory of enterprises and other civilian infrastructure facilities. During the inspection of the territory, one bomb was found that did not explode. As of 7:00 on September 22, according to the Zaporizhzhia City Council, Russian strikes damaged houses and non-residential buildings in three districts of Zaporizhzhia. 15 high-rise buildings, 10 private homes, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Under the procedural leadership of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation has been launched into criminal proceedings for the commission of a war crime that caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
