14 years behind bars for “espionage”: Russians sentenced a resident of Kherson region

The Russians have accused a resident of Kakhovka of allegedly passing data to Ukrainian special services about the location of Russian military personnel.

This was reported by the occupation prosecutor’s office of the region.

According to the Russian version, in November 2023 and from April to September 2024, the man passed evidence about the deployment of Russian military personnel and equipment to Ukrainian special services.

For this, the Kakhovka resident was illegally sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony with a year and a half of restriction of liberty and a fine of 200,000 rubles.
