17 farmers killed and 43 injured in Kherson region due to explosions and Russian drone attacks

Agriculturalists in the Kherson region are categorically not recommended to cultivate land within 30 km of the Dniprо River due to the high level of danger.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, 17 farmers have already died and 43 others have been injured due to explosions on explosive objects and attacks by Russian drones in the region.

This is the price of the crop grown on Kherson land. But we cannot forbid people from doing their business. I talked to many farmers, tried to convey my opinion, but I can convince some, but not others,” Oleksandr Prokudin noted.

At the same time, he added that almost 90% of the total area of agricultural land has been surveyed on the right bank of the Kherson region.

Farmers from the Kherson region note that there has not been such a moisture situation as this year for 10 years. Since autumn, during sowing, there has been more than enough precipitation. And now there is enough moisture in the meter layer of soil. You can safely sow sunflower. However, Russian drones do not allow you to go out into the fields normally and farmers are taking a lot of risks.
