18 UAVs were destroyed over the Mykolaiv region at night: an administrative building, residential buildings, a car and a gas pipeline were damaged

On the night of February 11, the Russian army staged a massive drone attack in the Mykolaiv region. Most of the UAVs were shot down by air defense forces, but an arrival was also recorded.

As a result of the attack, there is damage in the regional center. This was reported in the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

During the night, 18 kamikaze drones of the Shahed 131/136 type were destroyed in the Mykolaiv region by the forces and means of air defense.

In Mykolaiv, as a result of the hit, a fire broke out on the open territory of an infrastructure object, which was quickly extinguished by units of the State Emergency Service.

In the regional center, an administrative building, residential buildings, cars and a gas pipeline were damaged. The troops of the Russian Federation wounded one civilian – he is in a condition of moderate severity. The regional military administration emphasized that the man is being provided with all necessary medical assistance.

The regional prosecutor’s office reported that the Russians sent 10 attack drones to Mykolaiv at night. According to the investigation, the attack lasted more than two hours – from midnight to 02:00.

The law enforcement officers noted that as a result of the hits, a fire broke out in the open area of ​​the infrastructure facility, which was quickly extinguished by the units of the State Emergency Service. The administrative building and industrial premises of enterprises, more than 10 residential buildings, cars, and a gas pipeline were also damaged.

A 47-year-old man was injured as a result of the Russian attack. Prosecutors, investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the police, explosives technicians and employees of the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.

Under the procedural guidance of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was started on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
