The Russian army attacked Sumy region on the night of May 27, which caused damage to infrastructure and a headquarters was deployed to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy city military administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.
He emphasized that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.
The Russian army attacked Sumy region at night at 01:30 and in the morning at 04:30. The Russians used guided bombs and UAVs to strike the region.
As a result of the Russian strikes, houses in which no people live and 22 private houses were damaged. The roofs of houses caught fire due to Russian shelling, which were eliminated by firefighters.
A headquarters was also deployed in the region to eliminate the consequences of the attack, which worked from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“People are contacting this headquarters to submit an application for an inspection of damaged property,” the head of the city military administration emphasized.
As a result of the Russian attack, 69 windows were broken and three roofs were damaged. The shelling also damaged power lines, water and gas supplies, which have been restored for almost all but one house.
Another Russian airstrike on civilian objects was recorded in the Sumy region. The strike was carried out on the territory of the Okhtyrsk community, resulting in civilian casualties.
