On February 8, rescuers extinguished three fires in Zaporizhzhia region. The fires were caused by enemy shelling.
The press service of the State Emergency Service of Zaporizhzhia region reported details.
In Hulyaipil, a fire engulfed a residential building – firefighters managed to localize the fire to an area of 10 square meters. A larger fire occurred in the city of Orikhiv, where the flames spread to an area of 60 square meters, destroying a residential building and household property. In the village of Omelnyk, Polohiv district, rescuers fought a fire of dry vegetation on an area of 4 hectares.
During the demining of the territory, the State Emergency Service sappers neutralized a drone with an improvised explosive device, and also discovered and destroyed a grenade launcher shot in one of the settlements of the region.
The medical team of the State Emergency Service, which was on duty in the frontline city, provided assistance to a local resident who complained of poor health and dizziness. The incident was not related to military operations.
