In Kharkiv, the consequences of another Russian attack on residential areas are being documented. On July 7, at around 10:20, the Russian army struck the Kholodnohirsky district of the city using Geran-2 attack drones.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to preliminary investigation data, the Russians used six UAVs to attack civilian infrastructure.
As a result of the shelling, 33 people were injured, including three children: two boys aged 17 and 7, as well as a 9-year-old girl. The children were diagnosed with acute stress reactions.
Private and apartment buildings, a store, and several cars were damaged.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the attack under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors emphasize that all facts of the war crimes committed will be transferred to the Special Tribunal for the Commission of Aggression against Ukraine.
Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko identified the investigation of such war crimes as one of the key priorities of the prosecutor’s office.
