“Today is a day of mourning in Odesa and the region. We miss all the dead. So far, 20 people have died, including a medic and a rescue worker. 75 residents were injured, 55 people are being treated. They have different degrees of injuries. Nine people are in a very serious condition. We want to believe that medical workers will be able to do, probably, everything is impossible to save these people, and our sad list was not replenished with new names. The victims and victims are peaceful citizens,” said Bratchuk.

He emphasized that he hit the Russians with ballistics on the private sector of the city, the recreation area. And he did it with a double blow.

“The Russians paused when they understood that according to the algorithm of actions, medical workers, employees of the State Emergency Service would arrive at the site of the first strike to conduct a rescue operation and help the wounded who could be on the street or in houses after the missile hit. “Medics and rescuers arrived at the site of the impact, and the second rocket landed at the same location,” the speaker noted.

According to him, as a result of the attack, more than 10 buildings were partially or completely destroyed, and a service station was damaged.

“There was a fire related to getting into the gas supply network. The rescuers carried out all the necessary work. By the evening, at the scene of the tragedy, debris that had formed at the point of impact was being dismantled,” Bratchuk added.

He also emphasized that Odessans once again showed their solidarity and desire to help each other in times of trouble.

“The city breathes another tragedy. The city helps. Odesa stood in line to donate blood yesterday. I am very grateful to the people of Odessa for once again showing their solidarity, showing their understanding that Ukraine must win in this struggle, that the war is not far away, it is close at hand,” Serhiy Bratchuk summed up.
