9 houses damaged, over 130 windows broken

The chairman of Dnipro Borys Filatov summed up the consequences of the night attack on the city on January 27. According to him, 9 high-rise buildings were damaged. The roofs of two buildings were destroyed, and in total more than 130 windows were broken.

Central heating, electricity and water supply have been restored in the affected buildings. According to the mayor of Dnipro, gas supply is absent only in one of the high-rise buildings that was at the epicenter of the explosion.

“There is no gas only in the high-rise building that was at the epicenter of the explosion. The ventilation ducts there are destroyed. We will try to restore gas supply to at least one entrance. The rest of the work will require more time,” said Borys Filatov.

Currently, experts are working to determine the condition of the supporting structures of the affected building, which will allow planning further restoration of the roof.

Municipal services have already cleared the territories of the yards from the effects of the attack.

“We are working. We will not leave anyone alone with their troubles,” the mayor emphasized.

On the night of January 27, Russian troops launched strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region, attacking both front-line areas and the regional center. The Nikopol district, the city of Dnipro, and the Samara district came under enemy fire.

In Dnipro, it became known that the roof of a high-rise building was partially destroyed. Utility services have been working at the site of the enemy strike since the morning.

Utility services cleared the area and recorded the consequences of the attack. The city authorities assured that all victims would be provided with the necessary support and assistance in restoring their homes.
