
On January 19, Russian troops struck a residential building in the Slobidskyі district of Kharkiv with guided aircraft.
This was reported by the police press service.
As a result of the attack, both private and multi-storey buildings were damaged and destroyed.
A 65-year-old local resident died as a result of the shelling. Nine people aged 45 to 79 were injured, most of whom experienced acute stress reactions. Three received explosive injuries, including two women and one man. A 73-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man were hospitalized for medical care.
All relevant services promptly arrived at the scene. Police officers are providing assistance to citizens, collecting evidence and documenting the consequences of the attack, which is classified as a war crime.
Investigators entered information about the event into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for war crimes.
