On the night of January 20, a heat supply facility of the Teploenergo utility was damaged in a missile and drone attack by Russian troops in Dnipro.
It provided heat to over 90 residential buildings, more than 10 educational institutions, and two medical institutions.
According to the director of the enterprise, Andriy Klymenko, in the morning, after the initial consequences of the strike were eliminated, specialists gained access to the facility and began examining it. At the same time, full-fledged restoration work is currently impossible due to the security situation.
Due to repeated air raids, personnel are forced to constantly stay in shelters. This makes it impossible to carry out full-scale repair work, — Klymenko noted.
In this regard, utility workers cannot yet give an approximate date for the restoration of heat supply.
As of now, damage assessment and preparation for repair work are underway, which will begin immediately after the security situation stabilizes.
