Consequences of missile strikes by Russian troops on Pokrovsk

On the night of February 28, the Russians hit Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, with four ballistic missiles.

This was announced by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.

According to him, fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the shelling. Destroyed and damaged administrative buildings, educational institutions, apartment buildings and private houses.

“Together with the head of the Pokrov military administration, Serhiy Dobryak, they inspected the destruction. To eliminate the consequences of the shelling, all relevant services are working – emergency services, law enforcement officers, utility workers. The local authorities are currently conducting an inspection of the damaged objects. People whose homes were damaged will be provided with the necessary assistance.” – writes the head of the region.

In Kurakhovo, the fire and rescue unit was damaged as a result of Russian shelling

On the February 28, the Russians shelled the city of Kurakhove, Pokrovsky district, hitting a residential building. This is reported by the head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.

As a result of the enemy strike, the blast wave damaged the glazing of the windows and doors in the garage, and the suspended ceiling in the office premises. Fortunately, personnel and equipment were not injured.
