In Seredyno-Buda, an educational institution, a kindergarten and more than 20 apartments were damaged as a result of the shelling

Under the procedural guidance of the Shostky District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on March 4, 2024, around 12:00 p.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the occupiers from the territory of the Russian Federation fired artillery at the civilian infrastructure of the city of Seredyna-Buda, Shostkinsky district.

As a result of the shelling, an educational institution, a kindergarten and more than 20 apartments of local residents were damaged.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, record the consequences of the shelling. In the future, the materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred to the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in the Sumy region.
