Russian troops shelled 19 settlements and the city of Kherson in the Kherson region, injuring two people.

On March 5, Russian troops shelled 19 settlements and Kherson in Heyarson region, hit the airport territory, two people are known to have been injured, Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration said on March 6.

According to him, on March 5, the Russians shelled Zolota Balka, Sadov, Chornobayivka, Bilozerka, Mykhailivka, Odradokamyanka, Tyaginka, Beryslav, Tomina Balka, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Yantarne, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Blagovishchenske, Shiroka Balka, Tokarivka, Inzhenerne, Lviv. and the city of Kherson.

According to Prokudin, the Russian military targeted the residential quarters of the population centers of the region, in particular, 10 high-rise buildings and 11 private houses were damaged.

In Kherson, as a result of shelling, as noted by the head of the regional military administration, critical infrastructure facilities, a museum, a creative center and cars were damaged. Hits were also recorded in the port infrastructure and the territory of the park. “As a result of enemy attacks in populated areas of the region, gas pipelines, an inviolability point and a garage, as well as the territory of the airport, were hit,” he added.

“Due to Russian aggression, 2 people were injured,” Prokudin said.
