Kherson Region experienced a terrible night: Russians ransacked residential areas, there were casualties

On the night of March 9, Russian troops shelled 19 settlements in the Kherson region. Two people died, two more, including a child, were injured.

This was announced by the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The Russians fought in Tyaginka, Mylovyka, Kachkarivka, Bilozerka, Tomarinyka, Mykhailivka, Olhivka, Havrylivka, Kizomys, Antonivka, Vesely, Kozatskyi, Veletenskyi, Pryozernyi, Sofiivka, Stanislav, Sadovoi, Prydniprovskyi and Kherson. Residential quarters were shelled.

Four high-rise buildings and 30 private houses, two administrative buildings, a kindergarten, gas furnaces, a garage and cars were damaged.

Prokudin also reported that Russian troops struck Kherson from aviation at night. An aerial bomb hit a high-rise building. Damaged medical facility and port infrastructure.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
