“There were 18 reports of the destruction of citizens’ houses (apartments) and infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by Russian military personnel. During the past day, the evacuation of the civilian population from the temporarily occupied territory was carried out. 130 people were evacuated, 22 of them were children,” the message says.

The police recorded the greatest destruction in the Pologh Oblast. Residents of Gulyaipol reported damaged houses and cars, the territory of their homesteads.

As a result of the armed attack on Orikhov, the occupiers also caused significant damage to local residents. Police officers documented the destruction of private houses. Most of them have damaged facades and roofs, yard area.

Other houses suffered more significant damage from exploding enemy shells. Shrapnel hit the surrounding outbuildings and garages. In some, ignition occurred.

The territory of Zaporizhzhіa district was hit by rockets. One rocket hit the road surface on the outskirts of the village of Lezhine.

In the private sector, houses and the villagers’ own transport were damaged by the blast wave. Another flight was recorded on the territory of a local enterprise – the storage room of the granary was damaged.

As a result of the armed aggression, the Russians injured civilians. The residents of Gulyaipol and Uspenivka were taken to hospitals with shrapnel and gunshot wounds to the body.

According to the facts of war crimes, police investigators and the Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the Laws and Customs of War.”

The police of the Zaporizhzhia region continues to accompany the evacuation of the civilian population to safer places and regions. Over the past day, 786 people, including 95 children, were evacuated by rail from the city of Zaporizhzhia to the cities of Lviv, Chop and Kovel.
