Russian missile terror continues. After the massive attack on Kyiv, on March 21, the Russians struck Mykolaiv. According to the military, the missile was fired from the temporarily occupied Crimea. Minor fires broke out at the point of impact, which were promptly extinguished by emergency personnel.
So far, six people are known to have been injured as a result of the impact – they are employees of the enterprise. One woman died.
The final information about the victims and damages is still being clarified.
The head of the regional military administration, Vitaly Kim, reported on March 21 that the victims mostly suffered shrapnel wounds, as the rocket exploded between houses. He added that the type of missile will be determined by an expert.
“Now we are eliminating the consequences. One of the businesses in the city center was hit by the Russians during the day, we didn’t even see the exit. I will not make assumptions about the type of missiles, let the expertise establish. There are currently 6 victims. I don’t want to talk about the details. The glass was cut there because the rocket broke between the buildings, so the main injuries were from glass. The situation will be good, I hope we won’t have more victims today,” noted Vitaliy Kim.
On the afternoon of March 21, an explosion rang out in Mykolaiv before the air alert was announced. The mayor of the city Oleksandr Sienkevych confirmed that the Russian army hit the city with a rocket and called on residents not to distribute photos and videos of the consequences of the attack. At that time, four victims were reported: three women and one man.
