Kharkiv Region is again under attack from the Russian Federation: two people were wounded, civil infrastructure was damaged

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupyansk and Bogodukhiv district prosecutor’s offices of the Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been initiated. This was reported in the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, on March 26, around 3:30 p.m., the Russians shelled the city of Kupyansk. A 55-year-old man was injured. Private houses were damaged.

According to preliminary data, the Russians shelled the city with the Uragan surface-to-air missile.

Also this morning, the Russians attacked the village of Oleksandrivka of the Zolochivska United Territorial Community of the Bogoduhiv District. More than 10 residential buildings, the dispensary building of the primary medical care center, administrative buildings were partially destroyed and damaged.

A 56-year-old woman received minor injuries, medics treated her on the spot. Previously, Russian servicemen shelled the settlement with the Grad anti-aircraft missile system.

On March 26, at 2:00 a.m., the Russian military carried out an artillery bombardment of the village of Ivashka of the Zolochivska united territorial community of the Bogodukhiv district. The kindergarten building was damaged.

Prosecutors and police investigators take all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian Armed Forces.
