Ukrainian soldiers were shot by the Russian Armed Forces near Krynkami: an investigation has been launched

A video appeared online showing three unarmed Ukrainian soldiers being shot by a Russian soldier, probably with a machine gun. It is currently unknown when exactly this execution took place.

In the area of the village of Krynky on the left bank of the Kherson region, the Russian invaders shot Ukrainian soldiers who had surrendered. The prosecutor’s office opened an investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine on Sunday, April 7.

The department noted that a video was published in one of the Telegram channels showing the shooting of three captured Ukrainian servicemen by the Russian military.

“The video shows how a representative of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fires several shots at unarmed stationary soldiers, probably from an assault rifle. In the description under the recording, it is stated that the event took place near Krynyk of the Oleshkiv community of the Kherson region,” added the prosecutor’s office.

And the agency was told that the Russian military once again demonstrably ignores the provisions of the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners of war, and this, in turn, indicates the support of such actions by the highest command of the Russian armed forces.
