Severodonetsk lives in the “Middle Ages” – the locals will winter without heating, electricity and water

The Russians are actively looting the occupied city in Luhansk Region, taking away expensive medical equipment and settling soldiers in vacant apartments

Occupiers attacked 9 settlements of Donbas, there are victims

On November 10, occupation troops attacked 9 settlements in Donbas. Two civilians were killed and five civilians were injured.

This was announced by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, and the police of the Donetsk region.

“On November 10, it became known about two civilians killed by Russians in Donetsk region: in Bakhmut and Avdiivka. Another 5 people in the region were injured,” Kyrylenko said.

In addition, law enforcement officers discovered the bodies of six people killed by Russians during the occupation: four in Drobyshevo and two in Yarovya.

Under enemy fire were the cities of Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Kurakhove, the urban-type settlement of Velika Novosilka, Ocheretyne, Pivdenne, Karlivka, Halytsynivka villages. 15 residential buildings were damaged there.

Residents of the temporarily occupied Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region are looking for an opportunity not to freeze in winter. In the city, where there are currently about seven thousand locals, there is almost no water and energy supply, and there is no question of restoring the heat supply.

At the same time, the occupiers are removing everything valuable from the settlement and preparing for defense.

“The city continues to live in the “Middle Ages” with partial supply of electricity, water, unsanitary conditions and garbage on the street,” commented Severodonetsk chairman Oleksandr Stryuk.

— The summer has passed, so the possibility of supplying food from the surrounding villages is decreasing. And deliveries from the occupied territories or from the “rashka” are not systematically organized. According to him, the local “authority” does not even promise the restoration of Severodonetsk. The occupiers are preparing for a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces and strive to save their lives. No one cares where and how the local population will spend the winter, while at the same time the military is being actively resettled in vacant homes.

The city is gradually being filled with soldiers from the “LРR”: it is likely that the settlement will be used as a possible bridgehead for defense.

“There will be no heat in winter. Water and electricity are partially available in the old part of the city: they were connected there due to the resumption of operation of the Shchastinskaya TPP. As far as I know, they started one unit and supplied the voltage through the villages, – said Oleksandr Stryuk.

“But that’s not enough, already with the onset of cold weather, the electricity began to fail, as people in some places turn on the heaters… Since the collectors are destroyed, they will freeze in winter, and the water supply will be cut off.” In addition, the situation with medical care in Severonetsk is very difficult.

No more than 8% of the former staff returned to work at the city hospital, and all the expensive equipment was successfully removed by the occupiers. In the summer, doctors from the Russian Federation came to the city – supposedly to improve the medical system. However, without doing anything, they left. The marines recently destroyed the occupiers’ warehouse near Severodonetsk.

The Russians burned down the House of Prayer of the Baptists in the Luhansk region

The house of prayer, which belonged to Evangelical Christian Baptists in the village of Vovchoyarivka, Severodonetsk District, Luhansk Oblast, was burned by the Russians.

The local church was formed in the 90s of the last century. Evangelists from Lysychansk worked on this. Brother Volodymyr Moroz carried out the missionary service in it.

The church building itself was purchased in 1999 with the financial support of Christians from Germany. Local believers repaired it and equipped it with a House of Prayer.

During the 5 years of its existence, the church already had 40 members. Later, due to migration, as well as Russian aggression, it merged with the Transfiguration Church in Lysychansk. The House of Prayer itself was a home for immigrants, various church meetings and certain services were also held there. Since 2019, the Avana youth club, day camps for children, and an English class have been established on the basis of the church.
