On May 1, the Russians shelled Kharkiv, the village of Zolochiv, and the Lipetsk community.
According to Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of the State Security Service in the Kharkiv region, in the morning the Russians attacked the civilian infrastructure in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv.
“This is a private building. There is no military equipment or military here. A UMPB D-30 projectile has arrived, containing about 100 kilograms of explosives, – says Volodymyr Tymoshko. “Fortunately, there are no victims.”
At the same time, guided air bombs struck the central part of the village of Zolochiv, Bogodukhiv district. A 64-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman died. Six more people were injured: 35-, 50-, and 77-year-old men, 41- and 74-year-old women, and an 11-year-old boy.
“The couple who died were in the car. Six more people were injured. Administrative buildings and private houses were damaged, the head of the regional police headquarters of the Kharkiv region told about the consequences of the shelling of the village of Zolochiv.
Volodymyr Tymoshko notes that the Russians are shelling Kharkiv Region in the middle of the day in order to inflict maximum damage on the civilian population.
Investigative and operational teams, forensic experts and explosives technicians worked at the scene of the events.
According to the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
