Russians shelled Snovsk in Chernihiv region with cluster munitions: there are injuries and damage

On the afternoon of May 13, the city of Snovsk, Koryukiv district, Chernihiv region, came under a massive attack by the Russians with cluster munitions. A 39-year-old woman and two men aged 72 and 51 were injured as a result of enemy shelling.

In addition, there is damage to a number of residential buildings, cars and civil infrastructure. This is reported by the Department of Communication of the Police of Chernihiv region.

Currently, all specialized services are working at the scene.

Police officers provide the necessary assistance to the victims, record the consequences of the attack against the civilian population of Chernihiv region.

Investigators are documenting the consequences of a war crime as part of proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
