Russians attacked a residential high-rise in the center of Kharkiv, at least 18 injured

On May 14, Russian troops shelled the central part of Kharkiv, hitting a residential high-rise building. As a result of the attack, at least 17 people were injured, including three children, said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov.

The Russians attacked Kharkiv at approximately 16:10. The head of the regional military administration reported that the Russians carried out seven airstrikes. It is currently unknown what kind of weapons the Russians used. The impact fell on a 12-story building and the surrounding area.

According to Oleg Synegubov, a 12-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl were among the victims of the impact. Later, the head of the regional military administration announced about a 12-year-old girl who was hospitalized in moderate condition.

“Ten women and five men. The oldest man is 87 years old. In total, one civilian is in serious condition. 11 people received moderate injuries. Five are in a light condition,” said Oleg Sinegubov.

As a result of the airstrike, a 12-story residential building and at least ten garages located in the area adjacent to the building were damaged. At the moment, rescuers and specialists are working at the scene.
