Rescuers extinguished a large-scale fire in a coniferous forest near the village of Shchurove for more than 7 hours. The fire destroyed 15 hectares of forest floor. In addition, in the village of Yatskivka, Kramatorsk district, emergency workers extinguished a forest litter fire in a coniferous forest.

Emergency personnel extinguished the fire of forest litter on an area of 1.5 hectares and two administrative buildings with a total area of 302 square meters.

On the same day, at 11:30, rescuers from the 69th state fire and rescue unit arrived to extinguish a fire in a private residential building in Lyman. At 11:45, emergency personnel extinguished the fire in a house with an area of 30 square meters. m. on May 27, as a result of enemy shelling of the fire and rescue unit in Lyman, a fire broke out in an economic building (a former smoke chamber for training rescuers).

Emergency personnel extinguished the fire in the building on an area of 160 square meters. Other buildings of the fire and rescue department were not damaged. According to the State Emergency Service, since the beginning of May, there have been 46 forest fires on the territory of the Lyman community, 14 of which were caused by Russian shelling. The fire destroyed more than a thousand hectares of forest floor.
