The Russians destroyed a residential building: the Russians shelled the border of Chernihiv region

On June 8, the Russian army once again shelled the civilian population of the Novgorod-Siversky district of the Chernihiv region. Residential buildings of residents of the center of the village came under attack. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The investigative and operative group of the Novgorod-Siversky district police department of the Chernihiv region immediately arrived at the scene of the incident. The police established that as a result of the shelling, one residential building was completely destroyed, and at least four other houses were significantly damaged. Also, the agricultural machinery of the civilians of the village was damaged by artillery strikes.

The police of the Novgorod-Siversky district are documenting the consequences of the Russian attack. Information about the event will be entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
