The illegal authorities in occupied Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region conducted an “inventory” of businesses

In the occupied city of Nova Kakhovka, the illegal authorities have almost completed the process of inventorying property belonging to local entrepreneurs. The chairman of Nova Kakhovka, Volodymyr Kovalenko, informed the newspaper about this.

According to him, the illegal inventory was started a long time ago to collect data on local entrepreneurs who remained under occupation. So far, representatives of the occupation administration have managed to find out the names of the business owners and whether they have left the city.

“I mean business – basically, it’s the premises of the first floors of buildings, someone has a hairdresser there, well, there’s a different business everywhere,” said Volodymyr Kovalenko.

The inventory took about 3-4 months.

“An order was posted on each of the premises to come to the owners and show that they are here, with documents. That is, this process was taking place. Now it became clear to them who is there and who is not,” added the mayor of Novaya Kakhovka.

On June 7, the occupying authorities of the Kherson region reported that they had allegedly discovered residential premises on the territory of the occupied Kherson region, which seem to have signs of “ownerless” property.

The occupying power on the left bank of the Kherson region is forcing local residents to re-register property ownership according to the laws of the Russian Federation. Because of this, some local residents who left are returning.

At the end of March 2024, the illegal authorities in the occupied territories of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhіa, Luhansk, and Kherson regions announced that the owners of housing located in this territory must register the ownership of residential real estate in the “Unified State Register of Real Estate” of the Russian Federation.

Residents of the occupied Kakhovka of the Kherson region receive notices demanding that they provide Russian passports and originals of real estate ownership documents to representatives of the illegal authorities within 30 days. People are threatened with recognition of their apartments or houses as “ownerless” with further illegal “nationalization”.
