Cyclist Artur Pokutniy died as a result of a rocket attack on a residential building.
His mother and relatives hoped that he was alive until the last. The boy planned to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his family and country. This was reported by his friend Denys Dubov.
“During the shelling of Kryvyi Rih by Russian ballistics, he was one of those killed by Russian troops. The same ones who do not fight with the civilian population, but purposefully often hit residential areas,” the report says.
Denys met Artur before the start of a full-scale war. According to the man, the deceased often helped organize various sports events in the city and actively volunteered at the local marathon.
