The Russians deported about 20,000 Ukrainian children

Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets stated that the Russians deported about 20,000 children from the occupied territories of Ukraine.

He said this at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland: “For Putin, the system of international humanitarian law is no more than toilet paper! He shows complete disregard for international norms. According to official data, the Russians deported about 20,000 children from the occupied territories of Ukraine, although the real figure may be much higher! The Russian commissioner insists that there are more than 744,000 such children!” Lubinets noted.

The Ombudsman of Ukraine emphasized that Russia constantly blocks the return of kidnapped Ukrainian children. The only real way to stop deportations is to free all temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

“I call on the world community to support the return of abducted children and act decisively!” Lubinets said.
