In the Donetsk region, during the execution of works, a brigade of energy workers came under Russian fire. One of them was injured.
This is reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“In the Donetsk region, a team of power engineers came under fire while performing work on one of the power transmission lines. One of them – a 33-year-old foreman – was injured,” the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine writes.
It is noted that the victim was taken to Kostyantynivka hospital. Currently, doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance.
It should be added that today during Russia’s massive shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, seven energy workers were injured. As Ukrenergo said, the Russians targeted Ukrainian power plants.
Shelling of Donetsk region
In general, the Russians regularly attack populated areas of the Donetsk region, which are close to the front line. As an example, only recently Russian troops shelled the village of Nova Poltavka. As a result of the blows, seven people, including children, were injured.
