On the morning of July 8, the Russians launched another missile attack. In Dnipro, a residential building was damaged and an ordinary service station was mutilated due to shelling. This was announced by the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, who visited the site of the hit.
The Informant reports this with reference to the press service of the Dnipro City Council.
“Community workers, rescuers, police are working. We are also in constant contact with the regional military administration,” said Filatov.
The premises of an ordinary service station suffered significant destruction. The station worked in Dnipro for 11 years.
“I was sitting, then there was a sharp explosion – mad, big. An inexplicable smell of burning, which I had not heard before. We have metal construction, plastic, all that. Everything fell on my head, it’s good that it wasn’t a brick,” Denys, a service station worker, recalls the moment of the impact.
Before the rescuers arrived, he and other employees tried to put out the flames on their own.
According to the regional military administration, after the morning attack, 12 victims are already known, one of them is in serious condition.
