Specialists of the State Environmental Inspection of the Southern District conducted an inspection of enterprises in Vilniansk that were attacked by enemy fire on July 8. As a result, two areas are littered with ammunition fragments.

Environmentalists have determined that two sites are littered with munitions debris and construction waste. The areas of these places are almost 8 thousand m2 and almost 2 thousand m2.

In addition, specialists took soil samples in order to conduct laboratory tests to determine the content of pollutants.

As the inspection explains, the received information is used to calculate damages caused to the state. In addition, the data is promptly transferred to law enforcement agencies and included in criminal proceedings.

On July 8, the Russian army again launched a missile attack on an infrastructure object in Vilniansk. Two rockets arrived from Crimea. As a result of the first hit, the hangar with equipment and finished products caught fire. After a second hit, 9 cars and a transformer caught fire.
