Russian troops also shelled Liman in the Donetsk region, firing six guided air missiles. As a result of the attack, the injured woman was hospitalized in a local hospital, and then she will be transported to Sloviansk. Oleksandr Zhuravlyov, the head of the city’s military administration, told Suspilno Donbas by phone that she had shrapnel wounds and damage to her eyes.

Before the full-scale invasion, the population of the city was 22 thousand people. Lyman was under occupation for more than four months and was liberated by the Defense Forces of Ukraine on October 1, 2022.

According to the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, the shelling affected the communities of Nikopol, Marganetska, Pokrovska and Myrivska.
