The Russians damaged 19 houses, kindergartens, a hospital and three cars in Sumy Region

On July 20, Russian troops opened fire more than 30 times on populated areas on the border of the region. A total of 122 shots were scored.

Critical infrastructure facilities, 9 apartment buildings, 10 private residential households, a kindergarten, a hospital, administrative buildings, at least 5 farm buildings and 3 cars were damaged by shelling.

Investigative and operational teams of the police worked on the spot. Law enforcement officers also helped in liquidation of the consequences.

According to these facts, criminal proceedings have been opened under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the laws and customs of war”, reports the police of Sumy Region.

In the Sumy region, a Russian drone attacked a combine harvester. The combine operator was killed, and his assistant was wounded.

On July 21, Russian troops attacked a harvester with a drone during the harvest in the Sumy region, one person was killed and one was injured. This is reported in the prosecutor’s office of the region.

According to the investigation, at approximately 4:40 p.m., the Russians had previously attacked a harvester with an FPV drone on the territory of the Bilopіllа community of the Sumy district.

“As a result, a 37-year-old combine operator died, and his 59-year-old assistant was injured,” the message reads.
