Russian troops struck the Sumy region: a civil infrastructure object was damaged

On August 6, the Russians launched another missile attack on the Sumy region. The Russians targeted civilian infrastructure objects. According to preliminary information, no one was injured, as a result, of the shelling.

This was reported in the Sumy Regional Military Administration. As a result of another terrorist attack carried out by Russian troops, an object in the Sumy district was damaged. Appropriate services are working at the scene.

“On August 6, the Russians carried out a missile attack on the infrastructure of the Sumy region. Previously, there were no casualties. All necessary services are working on the spot. The consequences of the Russian strike are being clarified,” the regional military administration reported.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russians attacked the Sumy region with guided aerial bombs. The Russians also hit the region with ballistic missiles. Residents of the regional center reported a series of powerful explosions.
