More than 700 consumers have no gas supply.
On the night of August 13, Russian troops launched a missile and air strike on Sumy. Social and medical institutions were damaged in the regional center, the press service of the Sumy City Council informs.
Five doors and 10 windows were damaged in the Sumy Regional Clinical Cardiology Center, and seven windows were damaged in the Sumy Geriatric Boarding House for War and Labor Veterans.
Electricity and water supply were restored in the city after the missile strike, but 724 consumers are still without gas supply.
In recent days, the Russians began shelling Sumy more often. On August 11, the Russians dropped guided aerial bombs on the regional center. As a result of the airstrike, two townspeople were injured. A critical infrastructure facility and two enterprise buildings were damaged.
