Russian occupiers used icons on the Ukrainian Church as a target

There is nothing sacred for the Russian invaders who came to “desatanize” Ukraine, and they themselves first of all need to be “desatanized”.

In the village of Lyubimovka, Kherson region, near the Ukrainian temple, Russian rashists set up a training camp.

“It seems that this was a training camp for Russian soldiers. And this is the Ukrainian church,” the message says.

They shot icons from weapons. In particular, icons of Jesus Christ, angels, apostles Peter and Paul suffered.

Russia is carrying out a church occupation in the occupied territories. Also in the de-occupied Kiselevka of the Nikolaev region, a temple was destroyed by Russian shelling.

Russian troops captured Kherson in the first days of the war, at the beginning of March.

On November 11, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that Kherson was returning to the control of the Ukrainian army. The Russian military retreated from the right bank of the Dnieper, where, in particular, the regional center is located.

15 people became victims of shelling, and another 35 civilians were wounded. The heart of the victims is a child. In total, 75 “arrivals” were recorded in the regional center. This was announced by the head of the Kherson City Council, Galina Luhova, during a briefing.

And the press service of the Kherson City Council informed that these were the results of the shelling from November 20 to 25. And due to the massive enemy shelling that took place on November 24, private and multi-story buildings were damaged, and a severe fire broke out. 58 residents of the regional center were evacuated, including 22 children. These people were provided with hot food, shelter for the night and the necessary medical assistance. These residents decided to temporarily leave the city.

“In Kherson, the residential quarters of Tavriyskyi and Zhytloselishche micro-districts came under massive enemy artillery fire. In the city, the Russians targeted private and apartment buildings, a shipbuilding plant, a building on the territory of a school, gas pipes,” Yaroslav Yanushevich, head of the Kherson regional military administration, said. The occupiers ransacked the Kakhovsky Historical Museum

All funds were taken to the temporarily occupied Crimea. The National Resistance Center reports:

The Russians continue to loot cultural, scientific and educational institutions in the temporarily occupied territories. This is part of the enemy’s policy aimed at the destruction of the Ukrainian nation, because it is museums that research and preserve national memory.

The museum had more than 16,000 storage units. Among the most valuable exhibits are ancient Greek amphorae, Scythian ritual pommels, a golden Sarmatian earring and early medieval chandeliers.

The museum also presented a collection of firearms and cold Turkish weapons of the end of the XVIII-XIX centuries.

The National Resistance Center also reports:

Earlier, the occupiers robbed and took away 15,000 paintings from the Kherson Art Museum named after Oleksiy Shovkunenko. At the same time, the occupiers took away not only cultural values, but, according to tradition, they stole sanitary ware, including toilets, and household appliances.

At the beginning of November, the occupiers robbed the OCU church in Energodar. These are icons of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

The Russians continue the forced deportation of Ukrainians from the 15-kilometer zone from the coast of the Dnipro, — Sobolevsky

The Russian occupiers are forcibly evicting residents from a 15-kilometer zone from the coast of the Dnipro River. This information was confirmed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yurii Sobolevskyi.

“The situation is extremely difficult. We have many reports from our people that they are continuing the forced deportation. In addition, Kherson Oblast is practically being looted there. Everything that has any material value is being exported, it is being exported on a very large scale now,” he said.

Sobolevsky noted that this certainly creates very difficult humanitarian conditions for Ukrainians there, but it is also a good sign.

“The occupiers understand that soon they will leave there forever. There is something good about this. We understand that they really realized that we will knock them out of the entire territory of the region, they themselves have no illusions,” he believes.

Also, the first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council said that shelling of liberated Kherson by the Russian occupiers continues and the number of victims as a result of these attacks is only increasing. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation use ammunition for maximum damage to civilians. At the same time, demining of liberated territories continues in the region. But the situation is such that there is no access to most non-critical infrastructure objects until they are checked by sappers.

In the Kherson region, premises are found every day where the Russian invaders held and tortured Ukrainian citizens during the occupation of the city. Ukrainians were subjected to various methods of torture, physical and psychological violence in cells and basements. The Russians tortured mostly civilians, including children. Pro-Ukrainian views, refusal to cooperate with the occupation “administration” and suspicion of so-called “espionage” for the benefit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or Ukrainian special services could be the reason for detention and inhumane treatment of people.

Russian troops also shelled Zelenivka, Chornobayivka, Stepanivka, and Beryslav, in particular hitting a children’s playground. The first deputy head of the Kherson OVA, Yuriy Sobolevskyi, noted that the Russian troops justify the casualties among the civilian population by the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly place artillery emplacements in residential areas, but this is not true.

“The Russian army’s fire on the city’s civilian infrastructure is not counter-battery work, it is a deliberate act of terrorism, and the people responsible for it are war criminals,” he emphasized.

The head of the regional military administration emphasized that the Russian army only fights with civilians, and because of this he once again called on the residents of the region to evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gradually liberating the south of Ukraine from the Russian invaders. On November 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that Kherson had returned to the control of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian authorities, with the assistance of international partners, are returning normal living conditions to the de-occupied territories, and numerous humanitarian cargoes are arriving in the Kherson region. However, after retreating from the city, Russian troops shelled Kherson and the liberated part of the region from the left bank of the Dnieper.

During the retreat from Kherson Oblast, the occupiers kidnapped several heads of communities who refused to cooperate with them

The Russian invaders kidnapped and took several leaders of territorial communities of the Kherson region to the temporarily occupied left bank. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

It is known that they did not submit to the Russian occupiers, but it is known for certain that some were taken to the left bank of the Dnieper after escaping from Kherson.

“The Russian occupation authorities hunted people who remained loyal to Ukraine,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.

The law enforcement officers also note that the occupiers kidnapped the participants of the anti-terrorist operation, activists and former military personnel.

It will be recalled that on June 28, it became known that the Russian occupiers detained the mayor of Kherson, Igor Kolyhaev, when he came to one of the city’s communal institutions. After the searches, the legitimate mayor was put on a bus and taken away.
