In Kharkiv, a search and rescue operation was completed in a 12-story building that was hit by a guided aerial bomb

Search and rescue operations in the destroyed 12-story building in Kharkiv have been completed, said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov.

“Currently, search and rescue operations have been completed at the scene. The liquidation of the consequences of the arrivals is ongoing. We understand that the destroyed part of the building where the hit took place will be dismantled,” Sinegubov said.

On August 30, the Russians hit Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs in the Industrial, Slobidsky districts and in the city center. Six people died, 97 were injured. Most of the victims were hit by a 12-story building in the Industrial district.

According to the head of the regional military administration, the Russians used the FAB-500 with a control module, targeting residential buildings. 82 high-rise buildings, 11 private houses, several administrative buildings, educational institutions, shops and cars were damaged. About 3,500 windows were broken, 20 people asked for help with resettlement.

“We predict that the number of people who will apply for help will be greater, because the house is in fact an emergency. All examinations have been carried out and conclusions will be drawn as to whether it is possible to stay in the neighboring entrances,” Sinegubov added.

On August 31, the Russians shelled Chasovy Yar. As a result, at least five people died, including men aged 24 to 38. Shells hit a private house and a high-rise building.
