Instead of a festive line, the Lyceum was damaged – about the consequences of the night attack of the Russian Federation on Kyiv

Ukrainian air defense forces shot down nine ballistic missiles, thirteen cruise missiles and twenty strike drones.

Three injured and destroyed buildings. Kyiv experienced another massive blow. The Russians attacked the capital with a large number of ballistic missiles, the Kyiv City State Administration reports.

Instead of a festive line, the schoolgirl saw the damaged building of the children’s lyceum in the Holosiiv district of the capital. The wreckage of the Russian ironclad destroyed the sports hall and the boiler room with a warehouse. Firefighters have been extinguishing the flames here since the morning. Now there is a pile of stones and a burnt roof at this place.

“It’s full of smoke and the stench is burning. We flew out of there right away, because there’s simply nothing to breathe. The Muscovites did their disgusting job. They’re sending such greetings that you’ll have neither education nor life,” said Svetlana Omelyukh, head of the warehouse.

Only colorful balls on the territory of the educational institution remind of the holiday. Children and their parents went here from the very morning with flowers for the teachers. And they had no idea that the case was damaged.

“I wanted to see my classmates. But, unfortunately, the war and Russia spoiled our holiday. But still, let’s hope for the best!” – says Iryna from Kyiv.

Nearby is the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. Students who came here from different parts of Ukraine hid from the rockets in the basement of the dormitory. They remember the whistling of rockets and explosions.

“Everyone was shouting… There was a girl from the occupation. They calmed her down for two hours,” says Daria Bondarenko, a student at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

“The morning started terribly. Shaheds, rockets. Honestly, I didn’t sleep well, but I came to study,” said Mykola, a student of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

There is a lot of wreckage of the Russian rocket on the territory of the educational institution. They were collected by the police in order to conduct an examination and determine the type of rockets that were used to attack the capital.

It was noisy in other districts of the capital. First, the Russians launched cruise missiles that constantly changed direction. Already when they were flying to Kyiv, the Russians started hitting with ballistics.

“They constantly say that they really want to hit both critical infrastructure facilities and decision-making centers. That is, one way or another, they do not stop attacks on the capital. The capital remains a priority target for them. And we suspect that this object infrastructure objects to leave us without heat and light,” said Mykhailo Shamanov, the spokesman of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Debris of Russian iron fell in other areas of the capital as well.

In Svyatoshynskyi district, cars were on fire and windows were blown out near the entrance to the Svyatoshynskа metro station. Two schools were damaged – in the Shevchenkivskyi and Svyatoshynskyi districts.
