The Russians shelled the road on the way out of Toretsk: people trying to evacuate were hit

Russian forces shelled the road at the exit from Toretsk, hitting a car with civilians trying to evacuate.

As a result of the impact, three men were injured: two 51-year-olds and one 47-year-old.

Currently, about 1,700 civilians remain in Toretsk, and the delivery of humanitarian aid is complicated by constant shelling.

Analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War explained in June 2024 that the Russians had launched a new offensive on Toretsk.

By the way, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, stated on July 27 that Russia had destroyed Toretsk by 70%. The official said on September 4 that 1,700 civilians remain in the city.

“It is very difficult, very difficult to bring in humanitarian aid, because the Russians are firing all the access roads not only with barrel artillery, but also with drones,” Filashkin explained.
