In the Kyiv region, as a result of falling fragments of downed Russian drones on the night of September 9, grass and forest litter burned outside the population centers.

This was reported by the head of Kyiv regional state administration, Ruslan Kravchenko.

According to him, on the night of September 9, Kyiv region was attacked by Russian attack drones. The anti-aircraft defense forces worked, there are targets shot down.

Residential and critical infrastructure objects were not hit, and there were no casualties.

“In two regions of the region, as a result of falling fragments of downed targets outside the borders of populated areas, the grass and forest floor caught fire. The fires have been extinguished. The operative groups continue their work to fix the consequences of the night attack,” Kravchenko said.
