As a result of the Russian shelling of the bordering Chernihiv Region, the village burned almost to the ground

The Russians almost completely destroyed the border village of Yeline, located three kilometers from the border with the enemy – in the Snov community of the Chernihiv region. A large-scale fire in the settlement started as a result of enemy shelling. This was announced by the head of the Koryukiv district military administration, Pavlo Miroshnychenko.

As a result of Russian shelling, a large area of ​​the village burned. At the moment, I cannot name the exact number of burned buildings, because the information I have is based on photos and videos from the scene of the events. Due to the security situation, it is currently impossible to leave the settlement. This applies both to the commission specializing in counting damaged property and to representatives of emergency services. At the same time, if there is a spread of fire south of the village, the relevant services leave, – commented the head of the Koryukiv district military administration, Pavlo Miroshnychenko.

According to Oleksandr Artyushenko, the head of the Turyan district, it is impossible to accurately calculate the number of destroyed houses, because a specialized commission cannot go to the place due to security issues. At the same time, the man names the approximate number of burned houses – it is about 80 premises.
