Law enforcement officers have started an investigation in criminal proceedings into the facts of the Russian attacks on Kramatorsk and Shakhove in the Donetsk region, as a result of which one person died and ten were injured, among them two children.

Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, pre-trial investigations have been started in criminal proceedings on the facts of violations of the laws and customs of war (parts 1, 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on September 23, the Russian army shelled the city of Kramatorsk.
“For the second day in a row, the Russians are striking the city, previously using the Tornado-S anti-aircraft missile system with a cluster warhead. Residential buildings were hit by invaders. A 48-year-old woman died during the attack, and her 48-year-old husband and a 61-year-old resident were injured. Another 56-year-old resident was injured,” the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine said.
In addition, the Russian army probably hit the “FAB-250 UMPK” in the village of Shakhove, Pokrovsky district. As a result of a weapon hitting a private building, seven people were injured of varying degrees of severity.
As reported by the National Police of Ukraine, a 42-year-old police officer of the community, who was involved in evacuating the population, was wounded in the village of Shakhove. The law enforcement officer suffered multiple shrapnel wounds.
Six civilians were also injured: men aged 26 and 35, women aged 37 and 38, and two boys aged 7 and 9.
Residential buildings, shops and administrative buildings were damaged.
