On September 28, Russian troops shelled the village of Yasenove, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region. As a result of the ammunition hitting the store, two people died, including the saleswoman. Another man received shrapnel wounds.

At 10:20, the Russians shelled the village of Yasenove, damaging civilian infrastructure and residential buildings. The ammunition hit a local store, where a 28-year-old saleswoman and one of the visitors were killed. In addition, a 41-year-old man received shrapnel injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The final number of victims and the type of weapons are being established. During the shelling, a commercial facility, private houses and cars were damaged. The prosecutor’s office started a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding violation of the laws and customs of war.
