The Russians shelled the market in the center of Kherson, 6 dead and 6 injured

Russian troops attacked the market in the center of Kherson, at least five people were killed and three were injured. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin and the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office.

According to the data of the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office, the Russians struck at around 09:00, with barrel artillery. As a result of the shelling, six people died: three women and three men.

It is also known about three wounded who were provided with qualified medical assistance.

“The Russians attacked the market in the center of Kherson. Trading points where the residents of Kherson bought or sold products in the morning came under attack. At the moment, at least eight victims are known. Previously, five people were killed, three more were injured,” Prokudin wrote in a telegram to Tuesday.

The head of the Kherson regional council, Oleksandr Samoilenko, clarified that the Russian projectile landed clearly in the building of the pharmacy, where people were staying.

As of 11:00 a.m., it became known that six citizens died as a result of shelling in the center of Kherson. Doctors were able to stabilize the seventh victim, who was considered dead, but his condition remains extremely serious. Other victims were taken to a medical facility, they are under the supervision of doctors.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched in the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war.
