Russians export more than 300 tons of Ukrainian sunflower to the Russian Federation for resale in Africa

The Russians are trying to take more than 300 tons of the sunflower crop out of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. This is reported by the Center of National Resistance.

The Russians “bought” this crop from local farmers at low prices for further export to Russia, and later to African countries.

A similar scheme has been in effect in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian aggression. Local farmers are forced by the occupation authorities to sell their crops to specific companies at fixed prices, effectively depriving them of choice.

The National Resistance Center emphasizes that the export of Ukrainian crops is not only an economic crime against Ukraine, but also part of a broader strategy to undermine the economic stability of the region. Russia uses Ukrainian resources to strengthen its position in the international arena. Such actions should be condemned by the international community, and the guilty should be held accountable before the law, emphasized the Center of National Resistance.

Ukraine, Lithuania and Great Britain are working on the implementation of a system that will help determine the origin of grain that Russia supplies to world markets.
