Russians shot Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Pokrovskyі area, the prosecutor’s office started an investigation.

On October 23, during the offensive on the town of Selidove, the Russian military captured three Ukrainian soldiers, who were later shot, despite the fact that they were unarmed.
On November 1, during the storming of the fortifications in the Pokrovskyі direction, the Russian occupiers killed three Ukrainian prisoners of war again, using automatic weapons.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of war crimes that caused the death of prisoners of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the prosecutor’s office reported.
