Russian soldiers shot a civilian woman in the Lyman community of the Donetsk region. The police started an investigation. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General on November 14.
According to the investigation, it happened on November 10 on the outskirts of the village of Terny.
The Prosecutor General’s Office noted that the woman was walking down the street when the Russians opened fire on her. As a result of a shot from a small weapon, she died on the spot.
A pre-trial investigation is being conducted on the grounds of a violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Operative investigative actions are now being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the tragedy and to identify the deceased, according to the report.
