A crater near a residential area: police showed the consequences of a Russian strike on Kharkiv

The Russian army struck a residential area in Kharkiv with a missile that is used to hit command posts and underground bunkers.

This was reported by the head of the Investigative Department of the Kharkiv Region Police, Serhiy Bolvinov.

“The Russians attacked with an Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system, hitting near one of the sports complexes. Nearby is a residential area, and a huge crater remained at the site of the strike on an open area. We have already established the type of missile that the Russians fired at civilians. This is a weapon that is used, among other things, to hit command posts and underground bunkers. Instead, the Russians simply struck near a residential area with it. There were no military personnel nearby,” Bolvinov said.

On the morning of December 15, Russian military forces carried out strikes on several settlements in the Kharkiv region.
