In Chernihiv region, a policeman and a teenager were injured in shelling

In Chernihiv region, two people – a policeman and a teenager – were injured in Russian shelling, the press service of the National Police of Ukraine reports.

In Novgorod-Siverskyi district, a 41-year-old law enforcement officer was seriously injured in an attack by a Russian drone and is currently in hospital. Doctors assess the victim’s condition as serious.

“In the Semenivka community of Novgorod-Siverskyi district, the Russians launched artillery strikes on the homes of civilians. As a result of the shelling, a 16-year-old boy was injured, and a residential building was damaged. The teenager was provided with medical assistance, and his life is not in danger,” law enforcement officials added.

Also, during the artillery shelling in the Semenivka community, a 16-year-old local resident was injured. Doctors provided the teenager with timely assistance, and his life is currently out of danger.

The shelling damaged civilian homes. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of Russian attacks and collecting evidence of Russian war crimes.

According to police, the collection of evidence of war crimes is ongoing as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
