During the Russian Federation’s attack on Ukraine on December 20, a warehouse of the Silpo supermarket chain was destroyed. No people were injured, but as a result of the Russian strike and the subsequent fire, frozen products worth a total of over UAH 400 million were destroyed.
“On the night of December 20, as a result of a UAV attack, the Russians destroyed one of the Silpo chain warehouses, where frozen products were stored. Most importantly, no people were injured. However, the fire destroyed goods worth over UAH 400 million,” Fozzy Group, which manages the aforementioned retail chain, noted.
It is specified that this is a warehouse in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region. Due to the consequences of the Russian strike, the company will have to adjust the logistics of delivering products to supermarkets.
On December 20, at 00:50, a warehouse with an area of 15,000 sq m caught fire due to a drone attack in the Boryspil district. m. The fire was only localized in the morning at 04:05.
